This is my story. I discuss theological topics and comment about Christianity and culture. I feel that learning to love God with all of our minds, and serving with each other are sort of my goals and calling in life. The more we are able to love God and love each other will bring about what Paul said in Romans:" And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."

Adoption
So....Libby and I are right in the middle of a serious discussion about adopting a child. Suffice it to say, this has caused me to think alot about a variety of things lately. Am I ready to be a father? Will I be a great dad like mine was? How will I teach my child about Christ? Our church has a big emphasis on adoption, and we feel like the Lord has really led us in this direction. Considering that all believers are actually orphans that end up being adopted by God through the blood of his Son, we think it will be a wonderful way to love a child, share the gospel with the child and others, as well as allowing us the privilige of enlarging our family. Keep us in your prayers, and if you can't adopt, then find out ways to help someone who can. Blessings....

Hi, I just happened to stumble upon your blog and my attention was grabbed by your most recent post. We are an adoptive family here locally (I gather you are somewhere in the greater Knoxville area). Out of curiosity, what church do you go to? I am interested in starting an adoption program at our church if the leaders would be interested, and I would love to get info from other churches locally that have adoption programs. Please feel free to check out my blog, and I will be praying for you as your explore the possibility of adoption. I am always eager to talk to others about the blessing of adoption in hopes that more precious children can come home to the arms of loving parents!
God bless,
Jennifer
